1. How do I establish utility service for an existing residence?

Contact the Auditor's Office at (701) 575-4235 to establish new utility service. The consumer will need to submit an application with a drivers license and pay a $100 deposit if renting.

2. Whom Should I call before I dig?

Please call North Dakota One Call at 811 before you dig or excavate. This will prevent vial and costly utilities from being damaged a result of not knowing where utility lines are located.

3. What do I do if I suspect a water leak?

Check all water connection in and outside of your home for visible leaks. If you see no leaks and still think you may have a leak, please contact your plumber for further investigation.

4. When is trash pickup?

The City of Belfield collects on Monday. All trash should be out by 7am Monday morning. Holiday and weather emergency trash notices will be posted on our website and Facebook page.

5. When are water/sewer bills due?

Water and sewer services is a based on a monthly billing cycle. Bills are due by the end of the month as indicated on the bill and a $15 late fee will be applied if paid after the due date. After two billing cycles of non-payment water and sewer service may be disconnected for nonpayment. The City will not reconnect water service until the bill is paid in full in its entirety including the $50 reconnection fee, nor after regular business hours.
